Grundfos is hiring for the role of Software Development Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Responsible for design, development, debugging, testing of PC based software components using Microsoft Visual Studio IDE in co-ordination with the embedded SW team.
• Having experience in Desktop application development involves creating applications and maintaining the existing applications that run on computers.
• Responsible for full life cycle maintenance and interactive support to stakeholders
• Software development including unit test development and test of new software and products to the full value chain.
• Quality improvement on existing software, bug fixing and test.
• Build and share knowledge on relevant component, key technologies, and method improvement.
• Proficient debugging skills to maintain/fix issues in existing software

Requirements:

• University or college degree in B.E/ B. Tech, MCA
• Experience on programming languages - VC++, C#, Basic Win32 functions in windows environment for desktop application using MS Visual studio IDE.
• Knowledge on programming languages – Core Java, Python, JavaScript to create desktop applications.
• Understanding of communication protocols like RS232/RS485, USB, Ethernet IP etc.
• Exposure to Testing – Unit, Integration & System level.
• Knowledge on design tools like Microsoft Visio, Star UML.
• Good documentation skills.
• Certifications related to the above will be beneficial.
