Trellix is hiring for the role of Software Development Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop software, debug & tests complex software with strong knowledge in object oriented programming
• Collaborate within and outside assigned Agile team
• Take up end-to-end ownership of features/functions including development, testing, and automation.
• Should be able to come up with innovative ideas to solve product problems.
• Should have a keen eye for overall product quality and focus for Quality in each work responsibility.
• Should be able to analyze requirements clearly and objectively and break them down for active development. Work with Architect and collaborate well with other stakeholders to ensure features are well designed and implemented. 
• Estimate, prioritizing and planning project deliveries. 
• Troubleshoot customer issues and work with appropriate development, collaborate with other product teams to identify resolution and take things to closure.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience programming in C and C++ on Linux platforms.
• You have extensive professional experience as a software engineer designing and developing software solutions for large enterprises.
• Should be comfortable working on Unix/Linux-based operating systems.
• Excellent debugging, problem diagnosis, creative problem solving, source code analysis, and secure coding skills.
• Ability to work effectively as an individual and within a group.
• Hands-on experience developing mid- to large-scale commercial software products using C/C++.
•  Excellent knowledge of Linux with a good understanding of the OS architecture and Networking.
