Software Development Engineer Job in Pune at Mastercard

• Drive development in Java 8 and above using Object-Oriented SOLID principles and patterns to create reusable and scalable microservices, leveraging technologies such as the Spring Boot Framework, Event-Driven Architecture, etc.
• Develop in a CI/CD environment, leveraging a cloud environment.
• Utilize appropriate persistence mechanisms such as RDBMS, NoSQL, etc., based on needs.
• Implement coding best practices and code quality gates as per program norms.
• Perform various proofs-of-concept depending on business needs.
• Coordinate with various groups in Mastercard to ensure the success of projects.
• Exhibit teamwork aligned completely with the Agile environment.
• Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices.
• Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed.
• Report any suspected information security violation or breach.
• Complete all periodic mandatory security training in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.

Requirements:

• Passionate about technology, with a focus on strong object-oriented programming skills
• Possess good knowledge of product development principles
• Demonstrated expertise in Java and Spring Boot, with an added advantage of experience in Event-Driven Architecture
• Proficient in developing online/real-time systems
• Skilled in Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD); desirable experience in cloud-based development
• Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
