Software Developer (PHP) Job in Gurgaon at SourceDOTcom Private Limited

We are looking for a PHP Developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. The primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. Also, responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Responsibilities:

• Researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs
• Testing and evaluating new programs
• Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
• Writing and implementing efficient code
• Determining operational practicality
• Developing quality assurance procedures
• Deploying software tools, processes, and metrics
• Maintaining and upgrading existing systems
• Training users
• Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts

Skills:

• Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP and Core PHP
• Excellent command on PHP and MySQL using MVC Architecture
• Expertise on PHP web frameworks (such as Laravel, CodeIgniter)
• Good knowledge of CSS, HTML5, HTML/ XHTML, XML, JavaScript, JQuery and AJAX.
• Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
• Strong knowledge of PHP coding and web-based applications
• Good understanding of website integration and software creation
• Good understanding of open source Content Management Systems.
• Understanding accessibility and security compliance (Depending on the specific project)
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Good Understanding on REST, SOAP, OAuth and 3rd party API/ Connectors
• Additional knowledge in Modern web technologies like Node.JS is a plus.
• Perform occasional evaluation of new technologies and methodologies for use within the projects to be developed.
• Strong Knowledge in web application documentation, coding and testing.
• Strong debugging experience with code written by other developers.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
