Fynd is hiring for the role of Software Developer in Test 1 (SDET)!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and JavaScript.
- Implement and maintain test frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Collaborate with developers to identify, isolate, and debug defects early in the development cycle.
- Participate in code reviews, CI/CD integration, and continuous test improvement.
- Work on end-to-end automation for APIs, web applications, and microservices.
- Contribute to developing scalable test automation architecture using modern testing tools and frameworks.
- Own and improve testing efficiency through metrics, dashboards, and automation coverage.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in automation testing.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and hands-on experience with Playwright or similar tools (e.g., Cypress, Puppeteer).
- Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, Supertest, etc.).
- Solid understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, or similar CI tools.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
