Position Summary

• This role is for a Back-End Developer.
• The ideal candidate is someone who has built web APIs and other services using Node.JS (Express/NestJS) and MongoDB/ .NET, SQL and NoSQL driven databases

Position Responsibilities

• You will build APIs, web services and microservices for new and existing products at MProfit
• You will work within a growing team of backend and frontend developers

Required Qualification

1. Dot Net Developer

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
• 3+ years experience as a back-end developer
• Hands on experience with .NET
• Hands on experience with SQL driven databases like MySQL/PostgreSQL
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB preferred
• Experience with test-driven development, Git, CI/CD required
• Experience with cloud server deployment and architectures (eg: AWS/Azure) preferred
• Experience with API authentication (OAuth), rate limiting, documentation and other API fundamentals preferred
• Strong communication skills, written and oral, and the ability to communicate effectively with other developers

2. Node JS Developer

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
• 3+ years experience as a back-end developer
• Strong experience with Node.js (Express / NestJS)
• Experience with MongoDB required
• Familiarity with SQL databases like MySQL/PostegreSQL
• Experience with implementing OAuth authentication for APIs required (AWS Cognito/ Auth0 / self-hosted etc)
• Experience with Python preferred
• Experience with building public APIs preferred, including familiarity with rate limiting, API documentation and other API fundamentals
• Familiarity with Azure/AWS architectures
• Experience with test-driven development, Git, CI/CD required
• Strong communication skills, written and oral, and the ability to communicate effectively with other developers
