Software Asset Management Apprentice Job in Gurgaon at S&P Global

S&P Global is hiring for the role of Software Asset Management Apprentice!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Focus on Software Asset Management ensuring licensing compliance is adhered to, and annual licensing expenses are optimized. Both initiatives will result in reduced penalties and cost savings for the company.
• Work in a team environment, responding to Software Requests using Service Now
• Own and update your assigned work orders from installation requests, providing daily updates to end users and making necessary follow-ups to our internal partners.
• Enter and maintain license entitlement data into our Software Asset Management repository inside Service Now
• Interact with our colleagues, software vendors, and internal IT departments, including Service Desk, IT Procurement, IT Finance, and IT Division Leads.
• Be involved in special projects such as collecting data for enterprise software renewals, polling end users on their software use, analyzing procurement and entitlement data, and researching licensing terms, contracts, and agreements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Legal, Computer Science, Information Systems or Business is required
• Preferred experience as a software asset manager, software license auditor, IT procurement manager, or other related field is required.
• Preferred experience analyzing data and utilizing data analysis tools and techniques.
• Ability to collaborate with business and technology teams.
• Experience working with software inventory discovery data and license entitlement data
• Experience interpreting complex legal, financial, and technical software licensing terms and conditions and contracts.
• Prior experience with Office365/Teams Platforms. Advanced Excel skills are preferred.
• Experience working within the ServiceNow platform is a plus
