SOC Design Engineer - Physical Design Engineer Job in Bangalore at Intel India

Intel India is hiring for the role of SOC Design Engineer - Physical Design Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Take ownership of the physical implementation of complex partitions or subsystems from RTL to GDS, ensuring the design database is manufacturing-ready.
• Conduct physical synthesis, place, and route, clock tree synthesis using Synopsys (Fusion Compiler, ICC2) or Cadence tools (Genus-Innovus).
• Understand and apply static timing analysis constraints, perform clock stamping, and ensure timing closure.
• Analyze multiple power domains using standard power formats (UPF or CPF).
• Drive performance optimization, collaborating with process teams for co-optimization and creating best-in-class designs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, or Master's degree with 3 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in backend design and/or integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a high-paced atmosphere.
