Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Understand the context of data sets to enable analytics effectively.
• Design, develop, and implement SAD-approved capabilities using agreed tools and techniques in the LSEG Corporate Data Cloud.
• Ensure that work aligns with internal security, infrastructure, product, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain system documentation according to LSEG standards.
• Act as a Snowflake and data subject expert, capable of explaining products and engaging with a broad audience.
• Deliver solutions using preferred integration patterns and best practices.
• Guide and assist various teams with integrations.
• Provide input to evolving LSEG policies and standards.
• Ensure processes and documentation meet support and audit requirements.
• Report frequently on project status to customers.
• Collaborate on projects, improvements, and incident management.
• Work within an Agile scrum team with customers, Technology Product Owners, Solution Architects, and Scrum Masters.
• Debug, solve, and fix existing SQL scripts in Snowflake.

Requirements:

• Experience working with relational/dimensional data models and building data marts.
• Basic knowledge of AWS or Azure services.
• Strong SQL experience, including working with structured and semi-structured data (e.g., XML, JSON).
• Experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines in and out of data warehouses.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
