AMD is hiring for the role of SMTS Silicon Design Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Assist in Performance Modeling and Development of GFX IP Simulators
- Assist in Synthetic case creation, Performance Verification
- Assist in Performance Characterization of HPC/ML workloads
- Assist in Middleware Driver/Firmware/Hardware Interface Management, Queues and Memory Management
- Assist in Runtime Profiling and Debugging Tools
- Assist in Post-silicon support to ensure successful silicon bring-up
Requirements:
- GFX IP fundamentals, ISA Compilers and Translators,
- Data Structures, Algorithms and Graph Theory,
- GPU Shader Programming Knowledge
- Cache/Memory Subsystem, Drivers and Memory Management, Workload Scheduling mechanism
- Functional and Performance Models using C/C++
- Bachelors/Masters and/or PhD in Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering
