Synchronoss Technologies is hiring for the role of Site Reliability Engineer III!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• In depth knowledge of Linux system administration and support experience.
• Hands on experience including, but not limited to:
• Orchestration and Containerization technologies including Kubernetes and Docker
  • AWS experience across the full breadth of AWS technologies.
  • Ability to script in at least one of the following: Shell, Perl, or Python.
  • Linux OS Administration, preferably Rocky Linux.
  • Experience working with and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to troubleshoot java server applications, Nginx, and APIs in distributed environments.
  • Working understanding of NFS and storage technologies

Requirements & Skills:

• Enjoys learning and adapting to advancing technologies and procedural changes.
• Proven incident and problem solving (troubleshooting) skills with an emphasis on a timely resolution.
• Ability and desire to work in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills, with the ability to tailor communication to the intended audience.
• Experience working with ticketing systems.
• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation
• Familiarity with Configuration Management tools (Ansible, etc.)
• Familiarity with AWS and GCP
• Familiarity with Load Balancing
• Familiarity with Databases (MariaDB, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Familiarity with a Monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, etc.)
