Site Reliability Engineer - Google Cloud Job in Bangalore at Google

Google Inc. is hiring for the role of Site Reliability Engineer - Google Cloud!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Works with Google Cloud's customers, improving their reliability experience through preventing incidents from happening
• Participate in engineering improvements in our ability to detect incidents faster, and triage them more quickly and resolve them sooner
• Work with customers on reliability issues
• Drive changes to Google Cloud Platform's (GCP) reliability that customers need
• Work closely with Site Reliability Engineering teams and Google Cloud support on customer's most critical issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
• 4 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer
• Experience with one or more of the following: C++, Java, Python, Go, Perl and/or Ruby, etc
• Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems internals and administration or networking
• Experience with Site Reliability Engineering, System Design, and Distributed Computing
• Experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
• Systematic problem-solving approach, with excellent communication skills and a sense of drive
