Apple is hiring for the role of Site Reliability Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Designing and Maintaining Infrastructure: Developing scalable, reliable, and efficient infrastructure solutions to support Apple's products and services. ​
• Implementing Monitoring Systems: Setting up monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure the health and performance of applications. ​
• Automating Tasks: Creating scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks, enhancing system efficiency and reducing manual intervention. ​

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within an SRE or DevOps team, specifically passionate about distributed storage.
• Strong background in distributed systems, storage architectures, and data management.
• Deep knowledge of SRE principles, including monitoring, alerting, error budgets, fault analysis, and other common reliability engineering concepts
• Lead initiatives to enhance the scalability and performance of distributed storage systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement robust and scalable storage solutions.
