Cisco is hiring for the role of Site Reliability Engineer!

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field, or relevant work experience.
• Administration of Oracle Databases especially 12c,19c with hands-on experience on support & implementation high availability & disaster recovery with Oracle Grid, Data Guard, etc.
• Hands-on experience in Oracle EBS R12, Fusion Middleware administration Address issues & DB & ERP-Apps side performance tuning.
• Ability to perform Oracle ERP DB & app. cloning, installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades on Cisco UCS/Linux. Support 3rd party apps.
• 3+ years of IT experience in Oracle ASM & RAC, Oracle Active Data Guard, RMAN backup/recovery, Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12c; Shell & SQL, PL/SQL scripting skills; performance tuning, capacity planning, & DB space management.
• Experience on Oracle ERP APPS DBA administration task
• Experience on SQL in software design and development with Python and Angular/JS.
• Experience in Scaled Agile Framework, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery framework along with exposure to toolsets such as Jenkins, Git/BitBucket, and JIRA.
• Good understanding of Site Reliability Engineering concepts and ability to implement the concepts to meet desired SLA/SLO/SLI and build resilient DB platforms at scale.
• Good understanding of Oracle DBA and ERP DBA concepts
• Knowledge and operational experience of NoSQL databases like Cassandra, MongoDB, MySQL, or Postgres will be an added advantage.
• Golden Gate replication administration skillset will be an added plus.
• Exposure to AI and machine learning techniques to develop applications and systems
