Ramboll is hiring for the role of Site Engineer - Telecom!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Tower inspection of Telecom Towers (GBT/RTT/RTP/Monopole).
• Candidate should be able to read & understand Tower GA drawings.
• Candidate should be aware of the basic IS codes applicable for carrying Tower Inspection checks.
• Should be able to Physically check welding & other damages on Tower structure.
• Understanding of the complete scope of work & carrying inspection accordingly in sequential.
• Right usage of tools for completing the inspection at the site.
• Should have proper practical knowledge of Inspection procedures.
• Tower Inspection needs to be carried out as per the defined checklist & observation needs to be captured properly in the checklist along with supporting photographs.
• The position is responsible for the inspection of telecom towers in the allocated region every month as part of quality audit and submitting Field Inspection Reports.
• Based on their quality audit, a Certificate of Fitness is issued for towers. The position reports to the project Lead at the circle level.

Requirements:

• 0-2 years experience in the telecom infrastructure field. Diploma / B Tech/ BE Mechanical Engineering.
• Should be able to meet the JOB Description specified.
• Be good at MS Office package.
• Minimum 150km traveling per day to inspect sites and climb towers.
• He should be physically fit, love touring, be adventurous, and have an orientation for fieldwork.
• He should be willing to travel extensively.
• He should be flexible for taking up the project work in other states anywhere in the country.
• Since the job entails interaction with vendors, candidates must have good communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal & Smart skills.
