Valeo is hiring for the position of Simulation Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Product Thermal simulation plan
• Manage the thermal/ condensation simulation plan of products
• Validate design and propose solutions to improve design
• Identify/ look for solutions taking account the (thermal/condensation) specifications and constraints of integration
• Participate to define the thermal simulation plan of products and its update
• Follow the action plan of design modifications with project team to be on time
• Participates to validation of simulation by comparing with test results
• Supporting methodology development and simulation tools applications: for thermal or condensation, i.e. based on LLC
• Participate to definition of the design rules lesson learn and improvement for current method or standard checklist to improve product validation
• Capitalize by LLC product validation or simulation validation issue
• Capitalize by report in TMT product design validation and correlation
• Participate to QRQC resolution with project team
• Participates to validation of simulation by comparing with test results
• Check the application of simulation metier rules on time
• Fill the metier simulation review and action plan on time for metier review
• Organize and or Contribute Participate to the Network of his metier at the Product Group level, Business group
• Applying the Environment Safety and Security procedures and good practices; known for their activities and the activities of subcontractors the potential risks and their consequences
• Be attentive and responsive to them and manage the associated action plans

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, typically in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field, is usually required
• A solid understanding of automotive systems and components is crucial
• Knowledge of the automotive industry's regulations, standards, and safety requirements is beneficial
• The ability to analyze and interpret simulation results is important for making informed decisions and optimizations
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are important for collaborating with cross-functional teams, documenting results, and presenting findings to colleagues and clients
