Orient Electric is hiring for the role of Shopify Developer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Developing, enhancing & optimizing our Shopify Plus store
• Maintaining existing features and services for performance and stability and extending Shopify's functionalities to the next level using storefront APIs, liquid programming, meta fields, etc.
• Building custom solutions as apps or plugins
• Contributing to the development of HTML5/CSS/JavaScript, and common web technologies integral to building seamless multi-channel experiences
• Extending Shopify's functionalities to the next level using storefront APIs and integrating third-party and platform-supported apps in the sites
• Labeling of third-party applications
• Troubleshooting and working out testing plans and proactively suggesting recommended changes to prevent challenges in the future

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of Shopify Plus experience
• Experience in Shopify Liquid template language
• Hands-on experience in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• REST API knowledge
• Experience in MySQL and Database queries
• Working knowledge in Custom Shopify APP development
• Experienced in Shopify Theme development
• Proven knowledge of Admin API and Storefront API
• Background in Product modeling and configuration via Shopify Admin
• Understanding of Product, Discount, Order APIs, and customizations using the APIs
• Experience with Shopify instance management and configuration
• Knowledge in data migration and synchronization between Shopify instances
