Shift Officer - Dry Cargo Operations Job in Bharuch at Adani Group

Adani Group is hiring for the role of Shift Officer - Dry Cargo Operations!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Finalize Stack yard management plan and plan of cargo evacuation from mechanized plot to achieve set target by management as per the direction
• Minimize Rake Demurrage, Dead freight & Punitive
• Optimize of Earth Moving Equipment’s
• Initiate meetings with O&M relating to equipment status prior loading/discharging ops
• Avoid financial losses on account of non-achievement of GDR & GLR
• Help in cost control and prevention of any financial losses arising out of cargo contamination & mix up
• Facilitate cost savings arising out of reduction in variable equipment hires
• Reconcile stacks at Dahej of various customer on regular basis
• Process bills, raising PR as per the requirement of services, goods, follow up payment process for the vendors, etc.
• Co-ordinate field visits of customers
• Load rakes to minimize idle freight and punitive charges. Proper utilization of dumpers and equipment’s to minimize cost/mt for shifting as well as equipment usage
• Co-ordinate with rake planning to minimise stoppages during vessel discharging
• Prevent mixing up of different grades of cargo of same/different customer
• Prevent contamination of cargo with foreign materials in yard as well as during rake loading

Requirements:

• BE / B. Tech (Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Instrumentation) & MBA (Operation / Maritime Management / Shipping & Logistics)
