Sheet Metal Parts: Supply Chain Manager Job in Gurgaon at Maruti Suzuki India Limited

Maruti Suzuki is hiring for the role of Sheet Metal Parts: Supply Chain Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Proficiency in Sheet Metal- Press, Weld, Proprietary, Forging, Fastener, and Standard parts, with knowledge of associated manufacturing processes.
• Experience and understanding in Supply Chain management, specifically in procurement and development.
• Ability to manage relationships with diverse suppliers.
• Familiarity with Zero-based costing, Quote analysis, Negotiation skills, and basic financial principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical, and communication skills.
• Implementing cost reduction through VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) activities and Yield Improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Ability to read and analyze Engineering Standards, technical documents, and Drawings.
• Proficiency in IT tools, especially Microsoft Office.
• Estimation of Tooling costs from part drawings using the ZBC (Zero-based costing) Approach.
• Knowledge of sheet metal and forging dies, tools, and associated costs in design and manufacturing.
• Willingness to travel as per job requirements.
• Qualifications: B.E./B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience in the Automobile industry.
