Service Sales Specialist Job in Mumbai at Thermo Fisher Scientific

Thermo Fisher Scientific is hiring for the role of Service Sales Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Manage the sales of company service products to a variety of customer accounts and segments, building positive relationships over the phone/by email and in-person visits and delivering service sales presentations
• Generate new business from existing customers and promote and sell a portfolio of New Services.
• Formulate driven pricing quotations
• Work together with Instrument Sales to optimize the sales of upfront contracts and coordinate the approach on accounts assigned to service management
• Forecast future business and plan sales activities well in advance
• Develop and maintain detailed customer/prospect records and ensure that the relevant sales tools reflect this information (e.g. Sales Forecast & Territory Plan)

Requirements:

• Proficient in English in reading, writing, and speaking.
• Strong communications skills to optimally discuss customer’s needs to sell services by telephone and site visits; able to engage and influence at all levels
• Science/Engineering graduate preferred, but not crucial if you have strong prior sales experience
• Sales approach; strongly motivated by targets
• Positive approach and desire to succeed
• Ability to handle time optimally to prioritize and complete tasks required
• Able to adapt to a constantly evolving business environment
• Digital literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, or similar
