Service Manager Job in Pune at Bizerba India Pvt. Ltd.

The Service Manager role includes the following tasks: Defining and managing service level agreements with customers. Managing external service providers. Assigning tasks to technicians throughout each work day that are based on SLAs, technician availability, and the technician’s skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor productivity and prepared reports illustrating results.
• Prepare operational budgets for the automation department.
• Analyze industry automation trends.
• Evaluate automation staff performance and productivity.
• Implement automation production upgrades to meet project goals.
• Coordinate with other departmental mangers on more extensive projects
• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
• Carry out inspections of the machines to identify and resolve issues
• Check electrical and mechanical systems of weighing systems to ensure functionality
• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
• Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff
• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
• Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance thru own & contract employees
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
• Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
• Ensure health and safety policies are complied with

Requirements

• Should be an engineer having done BE in Electronics from reputed institution
• Proven experience as maintenance manager or other managerial role
• Experience in planning maintenance operations & budget plans
• Adequate understanding of technical aspects of static & dynamic weighing, dimensioning, metal detection, xray electronic systems etc
• Working knowledge of weighing principles, machines and equipment
• Ability to keep track of and report on activity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
• Valid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) will be a plus
