Service Engineers Job in Pune at Alfa Tech

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries and troubleshoot technical issues related to products or equipment. Offer guidance and expertise to customers to resolve problems effectively and efficiently.
• Install, configure, and test products or equipment at customer sites. Ensure proper functioning and performance according to specifications and customer requirements.
• Conduct regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Diagnose faults, replace faulty components, and perform system upgrades as needed.
• Train customers on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of products or equipment. Provide clear instructions and documentation to enable customers to use the products effectively.
• Prepare and maintain accurate service reports, technical documentation, and relevant records. Document customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and solutions for future reference.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to analyze recurring technical issues and contribute to product improvement initiatives. Work closely with cross-functional teams to address customer needs and provide feedback on product performance.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and service level agreements. Perform tests, inspections, and validations to meet quality requirements and customer expectations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (Mechanical, Electrical, or similar).
• Proven experience as a Service Engineer or in a similar technical support role.
• Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation, manuals, and schematics.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools, equipment, and software used in service engineering.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Flexibility to travel to customer sites when required.
