Service Engineer Job in Bangalore at Ather Energy

Ather Energy is hiring for the role of Service Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Evaluate the influence of change requests (CRs) and new product releases on current processes, conducting impact analysis
• Examine parts/drawings/assemblies to determine service, repair, replacement and rework requirements and calculate precise man-hours needed for effective resource allocation
• Responsibility for accuracy and adequate content of BOMs, including proper structure, quality requirements, and linking of appropriate technical documentation in our SAP/DMS system.
• Preparation of BOMs for use in our service processes.
• Liaising with Sourcing, Engineering, and Spares departments to meet technical and business requirements.
• Detailed checking of output to ensure the highest possible accuracy and quality for smooth running in production.
• Maintenance of the labor master database to ensure all records conform to established standards and documentation.
• Proactively engage and support company initiatives designed to promote a culture of safe working, environmental protection, and continual improvement.
• Ensuring the electronic parts catalog complies with the latest part revisions and accounting for redundancies.
• Aim for 100% Accuracy level of BOM with first-time right.
• Sound knowledge of Electrical Systems of 2 W/4 W Auto Industry.
• Should have knowledge of warranty claims, Service Quality and repair process.

Requirements:

• Electrical/Mechanical/Electronic Diploma holder/Engineer
• Work Experience: 2~3 years in the Automobile/Automotive Industry
• A strong background in electronic control systems is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Serial Data communication protocols and/or Software Defined Vehicle architecture.
• Ability to work well independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Proven track record of tackling complex problems.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical wiring diagrams and controller specifications.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Science/Electronics Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
