Service Engineer Internship in Mumbai at Arrow Electricals India Limited

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and commission electrical systems, equipment, and machinery at client sites.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during installations.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical equipment such as transformers, motors, control panels, and power distribution systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
• Provide technical support and training to customers regarding the operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergencies, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Prepare service reports, including detailed findings, repairs, and recommendations for future maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of all service activities and client interactions.
• electEnsure all work is performed in accordance with safety protocols, company policies, and local regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate safety measures at job sites.
• Provide feedback to the design and engineering teams regarding recurring issues or potential product improvements.
• Stay updated with industry advancements, new technologies, and best practices in the electrical field.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and power distribution.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Certifications: Licensed Electrician, or certification in electrical safety or equipment maintenance (e.g., OSHA, IEC 60204).
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and SCADA systems.
• Familiarity with renewable energy systems (e.g., solar, wind) is a plus.
• Knowledge of automation and control systems.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
