Virtoz is hiring for the role of SEO Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify relevant, high-potential keywords and phrases.
  
• Develop and execute local SEO strategies to improve visibility for geographically targeted audiences.
  
• Analyze search trends and user intent to inform content optimization strategies.
  
• Optimize website content, including meta tags, headings, and image alt attributes, to improve search engine visibility.
  
• Ensure proper keyword usage and content structure to enhance user experience and search rankings.
  
• Collaborate with web development teams to implement technical SEO improvements, such as site speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, and schema markup.
  
• Perform regular website audits to identify and address technical issues affecting search performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communication, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Proven experience of 2-3 years as an SEO Specialist or similar role, with a track record of improving organic search performance
• In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, etc
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive informed decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Technical proficiency to understand and address website and server-side SEO issues
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
