KPMG is hiring for the role of Senior - Transactions Assurance Group!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• You will work with managers to deliver audits for IPO requirements (US and UK) and other one-off transactions on specific clients, work to agree on timetables, develop the scope of work and deliverables, draft and work through work programs, conduct testing and carrying out assurance fieldwork, reporting, and project management.
• Delivering engagements in line with ISA, PCAOB, AICPA, and ISRE, or equivalent.
• Preparing the documentation on the assurance file in line with KPMG’s quality standards and our internal KPMG Assurance Manual.
• Juggle multiple client requests when working on different Assurance engagements.
• Assist the manager in completing engagement and client acceptance procedures.
• Reporting to the manager on the engagement on progress, findings, and client deliverables.

Requirements:

• Experience (1-3 years) in financial statement audit including experience in delivering audit engagements for large clients (ideally FTSE 350 or equivalent) or managing audits under PCAOB standards.
• An inquisitive mind with strong technical skills and a passion for quality.
• IT literacy with sound knowledge and experience of Excel/Word/PowerPoint.
• Willingness and demonstrated experience in quickly and effectively climbing learning curves
• Strong project management techniques including decision-making ability, analytical skills, time management, organization, and evaluative skills.
