Senior/Staff Performance & Power Validation Job in Bengaluru at Arm Technologies

Arm is hiring for the role of Senior/Staff Performance & Power Validation!

Responsibilities of Candidate:

• Post silicon Power and performance Validation across PVTF (process, voltage, temp, Frequency) Validation, analysis, characterization, optimization
• Responsible for System Performance, Power and Thermal Analysis of SOC.
• Perform Pre-Si and Post-Si Power performance correlation, debug and analysis
• Keep a key eye for details and numbers, Isolate failures to be SW or HW-related
• Develop and implement validation plans to validate performance, power, and stability, to identify and fix design issues to improve the overall product quality
• Responsible for analysing any performance degradation, debug the cause & propose optimization solutions
• Co-work with members across the globe & chip into technical discussions & status updates

Requirements:

• 6-10 years of experience
• Good knowledge of HW performance counters, HW/ASIC and functional validation, SW flow, able to read and understand Schematic documents
• Understand power, frequency, voltage & temperature logs and make decisions on why performance results are met or not met (performance profiling)
• Experience in handling equipment's NI-DAQ power measurement adapters & Thermal chillers
• Experience in using debugging tools like Lauterbach/Trace32
• Nice To Have Skills and Experience :
• • Familiarity with hardware acceleration platforms like Emulation and FPGA
  • Experience in LINUX & Android OS
  • Awareness of CPU architecture features (such as caches, MMU, SMP, coherency, CPU pipelines)
  • Knowledge of standard protocols Ex: AHB, AXI, APB, I2C/I3C/SMBUS, UART, SPI, JTAG.
  • Use of scripting languages like Perl/Python/Shell
