PTC is hiring for the role of Senior Software Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production systems that require higher level access or deeper application knowledge eg: Software configuration, administration, and general functionality of Workday. 
  • Perform tasks and approval workflows required to administer and execute human resource processes including but not limited to employee data, compensation, benefits, and leaves/time-off; disputes and investigations; and performance and talent management.
  • Partner with Workday Analyst on ownership of Workday Request tickets related to employee data, enhancement requests, break/fix, creating custom reports, and other administrative tasks
  • Collaborate with People Operations team members, HR Business Partners, recruiting team, and business leaders Maintain all HR-related compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Duplicate customer issues, troubleshoot technical problems and track the resolution of those problems with other PTC development teams & internal Customers.
  • Work within the Workday Learning Center, understanding our policies and being comfortable reconciling accounts.
  • Partner with L1/L2 support teams to address customer-impacting issues
  • Contribute to application support knowledge base
  • Identify recurring problems and surface areas of improvement in product development teams
  • Ensure efficient incident management, accurate communication to impacted groups, and timely resolution
  • Listen to our users, perform root-cause analysis to identify trends and patterns, and recommend system and/or process solutions that improve the user experience. You will design and drive process improvement around supporting our external and internal users.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management  

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s preferred, with previous experience supporting Workday
  • Strong communication (Fluency in English is a must) and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated deep knowledge of calculated fields, Composite Reports or Advance Reporting
  • Working knowledge or experience in the role of Workday Security Administrator and Business Process Administrator with additional experience in Report Building, EIBs, Custom Objects, Calculated Fields, Integrations, creating Dashboards, and break/fix troubleshooting preferred
  • Candidates with experience in Benefit, Recruiting, Compensation, or Advance Compensation modules are preferred.
  • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Working Knowledge in Google Workspace & Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrate motivation to learn new skills and technologies.
  • Skilled communicator within a worldwide team of engineers, developers, and managers.
  • Experience in interacting with customers across geography US/EU will be a plus
  • Knowledge of Incident management tool- ServiceNow & Change management tool – JIRA will be a plus
