Indegene Limited is hiring for the role of Senior Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
• Developing back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance
• Test and debug programs
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions on time.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, promoting a collaborative and innovative development environment.

Requirements:

• Work experience as a Python web Developer
• Expertise in Python framework such as FastAPI.
• Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM) such as SqlAlchemy.
• Strong knowledge of database technologies like SQL and NoSQL.
• Able to write complex SQL/NoSQL queries.
• Basic knowledge on Gen Ai(LLM) , vector database, embeddings etc
• Experience working with containerised applications like docker.
• Experience working in AWS cloud environment.
• Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python
• Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Strong unit test and debugging skills
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
