SEIC is hiring for the role of Senior Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Write well-crafted, well-tested code that meets the business needs and fits the SEI architecture and engineering strategy.
• Participate in code reviews extensively.
• Participate in reviews of business requirements, product requirements, and technical designs.
• Create technical designs. Write automated tests.
• Analyzing and resolving issues found during the testing or pre-production phases of the software delivery lifecycle; coordinating changes with project team leaders and cross-work team members
• Share knowledge with teammates by contributing to wikis, giving peer-to-peer talks, and helping out as makes sense.
• Your technical contributions can be focused on (a) web tier, (b) services/db tier, or (c) both. You do not need to be a full-stack engineer
• Interacts with architects, other tech leads, team members and project manager as required to address technical and schedule issues.
• Suggests and implements process improvements for estimating, development and testing processes.

Requirements:

• Qualification – Bachelors in Technology / Computer Science or Masters in Computer Applications
• A minimum of 5 years prior work experience working with an application development organization; must demonstrate experience delivering systems and projects from inception through implementation
• Database skills. Understand data modeling, how to get data into and out of a database in code
• Strong RDBMS skills programming in SQL Server (Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions), database modeling/design, and database optimization
• Strong design and development experience on .Net technologies - .NET Framework 4/4.5/Core/.Net
• Experience with Entity Framework (EF) on SQL Server or Azure SQL Database is a BIG plus
• Understand OOPs concepts and knowledge of the UML diagram
• Skills with ASP.NET, WebAPI
• Designing and developing Cloud Native applications using the Azure platform
