Altair is hiring for the role of Senior Software Development Engineer – C++ and Python!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Be responsible for key areas of Software Development in Altair HyperWorks NVH Director.
- Implement new features in NVH Director and NVH Core Framework.
- Design, Develop and execute unit test scripts and test cases for existing and new features in the product.
- Interact with Software Development Managers and Program Managers to design and implement business requirements.
- Document the design changes and participate in design/code reviews.
- Interact and assist the QA team in understanding new features being implemented.
- Accomplish the tasks in a timely manner following the Software development process, with high quality.
Requirements:
- B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical, Computer Science, Automobile, Aerospace or Civil Engineering
- Strong Academic track record
- Software Development experience in C++, TCL/TK, C, and COM on the Windows/LINUX platform.
- Good knowledge of Data structures and Algorithms
- Object Oriented Design and UML
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ready to work in a dynamic environment and on different technologies
- Should be able to deliver assignments with high quality while adhering to a schedule
