GE Power is hiring for the position of Senior Sales & Tendering Manager - Boiler, AQCS & Turbine Upgrades

Responsibilities of the candidate:

  • Leads the Region India Service Upgrades Sales team to achieve commercial metrics, including but not limited to Orders, Contribution Margin and ITO Cash
  • Leads the Region India Service Upgrades Com Ops team. Formulates and executes proposal strategy and sales agreements
  • Steer policy advocacy for timely and effective implementation of Retrofits and Flexibility Upgrades with government bodies like CEA, CERC, MOP, etc
  • Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
  • Uses judgment to draw conclusions or solve complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns, or customers. Takes new perspective on existing solutions.
  • Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to conclude.
  • Develop specialized knowledge of the latest commercial developments in my own area and communication skills to influence others. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensures delivery within the area of responsibility.
Requirements:
  • Substantive experience in Sales and proposals, preferably in the Power Services sector
  • Engineering degree from an accredited university or college
  • MBA or Masters degree desired
  • Strong service mindset with foundations of empathy with customers, the spirit of collaboration with peers, agility, and passion to take positive stretch for customers, growth mindset, and value selling skills
  • Strong motivation to apply Lean fundamentals to evaluate and resolve problems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and responsive skills
