Bajaj Finserv is hiring for the role of Senior Relationship Manager - Affordable Housing!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Manage and support the effective deployment of a team of sales professionals within the assigned geographical area, exploring new markets and allocating resources to the most profitable opportunities.
  • Achieve and exceed business goals and targets.
  • Build a strong, compliant sales culture across the channel to drive acquisitions, profitability, and continuous employee development.
  • Meet with Category A builders and ensure their projects are approved with BAFL.
  • Negotiate with builders to secure business in a cost-effective manner.
  • Identify the need for sales training, analyze market trends, and suggest improvements in channel deployment, while providing regular feedback to the RSM.
  • Ensure implementation of promotional plans and contests, and recommend new, innovative promotion strategies for the designated area.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing team members.
  • Foster strong employee relationships, motivation, and engagement to drive performance and job satisfaction.
  • Ensure timely completion of goal setting, PMP discussions, development plans, ongoing coaching, feedback sessions, and skip-level meetings.
  • Collaborate effectively with Operations and Risk teams to contribute to process efficiency and profitability across locations.
  • Oversee the Sales & Collect Model, managing collections for the acquired portfolio.

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience in managing large sales channels in multiple market environments, preferably in corporate sales.
  • Prior experience in the Financial Services Industry, with specific expertise in Personal Loans, Business Loans, or Loans against/purchase of commercial properties.
  • Proven track record of success and achievement orientation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong bias for action and results in a high-performance environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with hands-on team management skills.
  • Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset to drive channel performance and improve profitability.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and proactive in approach.
