Senior QA Engineer Job in Mumbai at Vodafone

Vodafone is hiring for the role of Senior QA Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Take ownership of the product end-to-end quality through development and continuous improvement/update of test strategy, test plan and test cases as support to the development, sometimes chipping in to develop the code himself/herself
• Optimize the testing process by embedding automation in the software delivery pipeline according to industry best practices
• Test software releases by executing assigned tests (manual and/or automated)
• Report/Log Defects and chase resolution
• Become familiar with the software under test and any other software related to it
• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems
• Building on and improving existing product and service capabilities by adding new tools and techniques to improve the quality of the products
• Collaborate with testing experts community internally and externally to share experience and improve industry products and processes 

Requirements:

• Very good experience in testing web frontend and/or web backend domain
• Very good experience in API Testing. Knowledge in HTTP (header setting, response codes)
• Experience and Knowledge of Testing – Manual and  Automation frameworks (Selenium, Jmeter, Cucumber, TestNG, SeeTest)
• Experience with Load and Performance test scripting and E-2-E automation
• Knowledge in scripting (bash), Basic Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL DB
• Experience in Agile (SCRUM/Kanban) teams
• Knowledge of ticketing system (QA, Jira, Remedy),
• Excellent communication skills
• Good experience/exposure in Java Programing, Cloud & CI-CD-CT
• Hands-on experience on the tools- Eclipse IDE, Maven, Jenkins, Git
• Experience and Knowledge of Testing – Manual and  Automation frameworks (Selenium, Jmeter, Cucumber, Frisby, TestNG)
• Experience in TDD
• Testing methodologies of black box, white box, system tests
• Experience on tracing logs.
• Familiar with mock servers
