Senior Program Manager , Packaging Job in Bangalore at Amazon

Amazon is hiring for the job role of Senior Program Manager, Packaging!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Performing dive deep into the multiple elements that govern the decision-making behind the fulfillment fitment logic for every Amazon order, across all fulfillment channels.
  
• Working closely with a multitude of stakeholders to come up with initiatives to reduce cost, and taking them through senior leadership for guidance and ultimately approval.
  
• Working very closely with the other geos of Amazon operations, understanding their strategies for reducing cost through VA/VE analysis, and working out a long-term roadmap for India.
  
• Working very closely with product teams to see through the product interventions needed for the program to scale and have a substantial impact on box fitment logic.
  
• Working closely with operations, finance category, and procurement team to manage short-term commitments to overall goals, and make sure they stay on track.
  
• Benchmarking our practices with the best in class (whether internal or external), and using it to own and influence the long-term vision. In addition, take for upstream sourcing, vendor identification, long long-term strategic partnership with vendors
  
• Managing cross-functional project teams, planning and organizing, and executing complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders to enable the launch of new projects, and processes.
  
• Innovating to improve customer experience, and relentlessly working towards contributing to the sustainability goals of Amazon.
  
• Acting as a single point of contact for from operations team for any discussions pertaining to the program

Requirements:

• 5 years of program or project management experience
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
• 2+ years of driving process improvement experience
• Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
