Senior Payroll Specialist Job in Ahmedabad at TTEC

TTEC is hiring for the role of Senior Payroll Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

•  Process payroll payments accurately and on a timely manner in compliance with tax regulations, labor laws and company standards
• Full and final settlement processing
• Participate in payroll testing and analysis
• Investigate and resolve errors in payroll processing
• Processing and resolving payroll disputes, discrepancies and errors.
• Reconciliation of payroll and statutory files and reports
• Filing and payroll tax returns and other required reports.
• Understanding and staying current on changes in payroll regulations
• Releasing of check payment salaries if needed
• Responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters through various platforms – HXConnect, email and Teams chat.

Requirements:

• 1 to 2 years of experience processing India payroll for a large multinational organization 
• Knowledge on payroll of other APAC countries is an advantage
• Knowledge of Kronos, Oracle HR, payroll and general ledger systems
• Knowledge of India tax regulations, compliance and labor rulings.
• Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills
• Great interpersonal skills in dealing with a diverse population
• Able to respect and ensure strict confidentiality of employee and payroll data.
• High level of integrity and judgment
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal
