Godrej is hiring for the role of Senior Officer NDT!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Identify the material requirement for making the demonstration block.
• Handle inspection stages like preparation of NDE plan, Weld Map, and liaising with TPIA related to NDE examination.
• Handle inspection stages like preparation of NDE plan, Weld Map, and testing with TMA related to NDE examination.
• Verify the stages of NDE with the Quality Assurance Plan.
• Review manufacturing drawings for constraints/issues for on-job NDE & concluding essential guidelines/instructions.
• Demonstrate the NDE procedures to TPI / client.
• Plan, perform, and report the NDE as per QAP & Procedures.
• Maintain and prepare daily NDE defect sheet and NDE status for each project.
• Review problem areas like Radiographic Testing (RT) repairs, Ultrasonic Testing (UT) repairs, and TOFD repairs.
• Ensure control of NDE Vendors and verify the activities performed by vendors.

Requirements:

• Graduate/Diploma in Engineering and Certification as per ASNT/ISNT/EN473 as Level II in various NDE Methods (PT, MT, RT, and UT) is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in NDE/NDT in the Fabrication Industry is required.
• Must have a strong knowledge of Heat Exchanger-Pressure Vessel fabrication.
• Must have a strong understanding of ASME code along with NDE for raw material and NDE documentation.
