Rockwool is hiring for the role of Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Perform daily checks of machines, pipelines, pumps, compressors, valves, gearboxes, and conveyors.
- Carry out lubrication, cleaning, tightening, and replacement of small parts.
- Ensure correct alignment and fitting of mechanical components.
- Respond quickly to machine/equipment breakdowns.
- Dismantle, repair, and reassemble mechanical parts using hand tools and power tools.
- Assist in welding, gas cutting, grinding, and other basic repair activities when required.
Requirements:
- Record breakdown details, spare parts used, and work completed.
- Report repeated failures or abnormal conditions to senior technicians/engineers
