About this Job
Job Profile:
- Meeting shipping lines in person to develop the relations.
- Negotiation of freight rates with Ocean Carriers / Transportation companies.
- Develop relations and business with Ocean Carriers / Transportation companies
- Maintain weekly report on inquiries generated versus business secured
- To coordinate with overseas partners and develop business synergies and maintain contract with overseas partners.
- To ensure timely responses and quote submissions to network offices for RFQs and business enquiries.
- To support Sales & Business Development initiatives for Land & Sea Forwarding by visiting customers if required by the business
- Monitoring and facilitation of progress of cost saving and yield improvement plans through continuous vendor management and development initiatives.
