Harman is hiring for the role of Senior Manager Operations!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Lead and drive the performance of the India Supply chain team, manage forecasting, demand planning, logistics, and inventory management
• Lead and drive the performance of the India Post-sales technical support team in supporting the entire HARMAN customer base on first-line support throughout the region including audio, video & control, and lighting product portfolio
• Manage the technical service operations in providing technical support and product repair services to our distributors/customers in India, including management of the spare parts warehouse.
• Manage the India Pre-Sales Application team in supporting our partners and system integrators to design  and offer world-class Audio Video and Lighting Solutions
• Ensure alignment with a global approach in technical and customer service management and foster a customer-oriented approach for the serviceability of our products and services for the Indian region.
• To be a core interface to product life-cycle management, supplier quality, customer service, logistics, and other relevant functions within the organization.
• Support global initiatives in setting up standard operating procedures, defining service requirements for new and existing products, participating in engineering product development projects, etc.
• Develop and apply technical standards and procedures and provide advice on issues with the technical support team.
• Own end-users and channel partners’ technical escalation back to HARMAN APAC

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering desirable
• Ability to understand business requirements and effectively present/articulate advanced HARMAN Audio, Video, and Lighting solutions
• Experience in managing operations in a multinational company of a similar nature is a must
• Financial acumen to understand the function and how it relates to the overall P&L
