Tata Motors is hiring for the role of the Senior Manager-Master Data Cell 

Responsibilities of the candidate:

• Material Requirement Planning
  
  • Execute MRP Run based on S&OP Plan for schedule lines generation to enable parts in-warding in line with production plan
    
  • Monitor and optimize material availability during production by taking timely MRP run
    
  • Monitor inventory at all PVBU plants to ensure product inventory is at optimum levels
    
  • Monitor implementation of zero obsolescence plan for phased-out products as per defined timelines 
    
• Master Data Management
  
  • Process material master data updation requests pertaining to Store Location, MRPC, Reorder point, Max stk Level, Rounding Value, Safety stocks, etc.
    
  • Material Master Creation / Extension for all Direct and Indirect plants of PV Business
    
  • Create/update Sales views for all PV Business plants
    
  • Conceptualize IT Dashboard for MIS Reporting
    
  • Monitor and guide master data cell (bill of material, item, vendor master, MRP, target inventory level) management
    
  • Ensure standardization of SAP material master data input at the PVBU level
    
  • Provide inputs for the development of strategy for Material Master data in case of new development for process standardization with PLM and TS Team
    
  • Resolve of queries on SAP Parts' & VC Level
    
• Operations Planning
  
  • Prepare MIS for BSVI Critical part tracking
    
  • Generate monthly MIS Report of Model wise RM inventory
    
  • Monitor and control of BSIV and Phase-out parts inventory
    
  • Reconcile inventory for Pre SOP Vehicles and transfer to ERC
    
• New Developments 
  
  • Execute new Business requirements like New Plant code creation for BETA vehicle production
    
  • Develop new applications/processes in SAP for process efficiency
    
  • Partner with business for implementation of new processes in SAP
