Senior Legal Counsel Job in Nashik at Winjit Technologies

Key Responsibilities

• Contract Management: Independently draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial agreements including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, vendor and customer contracts, technology and licensing agreements, including IP related aspects.
• Real Estate & Land Laws: Review and manage documentation related to property leases, rentals, office space agreements, and related legal matters.
• Employment & Labour Laws: Provide guidance on employment-related issues, contract labour, internal policies, and assist HR with compliance under applicable labour laws.
• Data Protection & Privacy: Support implementation of data protection practices and review contractual provisions for compliance with applicable privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, DPDP Act).
• Company Secretarial Coordination: Liaise with external company secretarial consultants to ensure compliance with Companies Act requirements, statutory filings, and board resolutions.
• Legal Compliance: Stay updated on legal developments and help implement necessary changes in business practices, contracts, and policies.
• Internal Advisory: Work closely with internal departments including HR, Finance, Admin, Procurement, and Business teams to provide sound legal guidance aligned with business objectives.
• Legal Operations & Risk Management: Maintain contract repositories, compliance trackers, and support ongoing improvements in legal operations and documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) is required; a Master’s degree in Law, Company Secretary (CS), or other relevant specializations will be an added advantage.
• 3–5 years of experience working in a corporate legal function or a combination of in- house and law firm roles.
• Familiarity with common law systems and experience working across international subsidiaries, particularly in jurisdictions.
• Solid understanding of commercial and corporate law with hands-on experience in end-to-end contract handling.
• Exposure to land laws, labour laws, and data protection requirements.
• Collaborative, solution-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines with professionalism.
• Sound judgment, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
