FLSmidth Pvt. Ltd is hiring for the role of Senior Lead Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Prepare basic/detailed Engg. documents for High-Capacity Conveyors
• Plan & coordinate for technical inputs with proactiveness to meet the project schedules
• Performs and Reviews mechanical calculations
• Shall be able to achieve schedule and complete the deliverables with quality
• Shall contribute to the technical development (of design/people) in the work area
• Capable of guiding the designers in the technical field of Material Handling Systems, mainly on high-capacity conveyors
• Work closely with global offices to provide technical support for ongoing projects
• Travel to  global offices/customers/consultants/sites/vendor shops for technical clarification  and issue resolution on short notice
• Ensure issues reporting from the customers/consultants are addressed on priority
• Review/approval of various vendor documents meeting the project/contractual requirements including 3D
• Shall strive to achieve department & own KPI's
• Shall proactively collect, update & monitor the KPI data to meet timeliness
• A team player actively participates in team-building activities & motivates others in the team
• Shall focus on continuous improvement initiatives & implement them in the process
• Shall be able to contribute to improving engineering efficiency

Requirements:

• Experience in Designing high -performance Conveyors
• Experience in freezing  complex  layouts of conveyors
• Deep knowledge of  DIN,  CEMA, and Indian Standards for the design of conveyors
• Experience in understanding of Dynamics of overland conveyors
• Should be very clear in concepts of all types of conveyors
• Experience in  Handling  Third party consultants/ Customers for approval
• Experience in handling  Third-party vendors for outsourced engineering work
• Basic knowledge of tools like AutoCAD,  TEKLA, Inventor, TEKLA .... etc
• Knowledge of tools like Chute analysis,  and Belt analysis
• Proficient to work in Microsoft  Office Tools
• Good communication and willingness to learn continuously
• Good in  English at the  'negotiation level'  both written and oral
• Experience in documentation that meets quality standards
• Good planning  & organizing skills
• Ownership and Solution  Orientation mindset
