IRIS Software is hiring for the role of Senior Java Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Provide technical support during solution design for new requirements
• Work within a team, collaborate and add value through participation in peer code reviews, provide comments and suggestions, and work with cross functional teams to achieve goals
• Participate and assist in technical training and development of other staff members

Requirements:

• Knowledge and hands on experience on Java 17 or Java 11
• Knowledge and hands on experience in Oracle SQL
• MUST have strong work experience on Java Streams and Multithreading
• Working experience on VCS (GitHub, Bitbucket), Databases (Oracle/Olympus), sonar
• Have working experience on JIRA for tasks such as updates, cloning etc.
• Experience on basic Unix commands using Tectia as well as understanding shell scripts
• Java Frameworks (preferably Spring Boot, Hibernate)
• Development/build tools (Maven, Eclipse, IntelliJ)
• Well versed in development methodologies and the enabling tools and technologies (JUnit, RLM, CI/CD etc.)
• Knowledge of application deployment in to Application Servers / Tomcat
• Knowledge of design patterns and their usage and fitment in a given scenario
• Using build tools TeamCity, Harness will be an advantage
• Microservices experience using Springboot will be an added advantage
