Senior HW Engineer Job in Pune at Whirlpool Corporation

WHIRLPOOL is hiring for the role of Senior HW Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Accountable fro Hardware Quality Assurance
• Ensure a productivity improvement and quality deliverable fro projects assigned
•  Accountable for Automation Hardware and harness Maintenance activities
• Supporting Environmental compliance validation and Touch validation based on project needs
• Participate in Technical Deep Dives and review
• Close collaboration with Procurement and Admin Team for equipment maintenance & procurement.
•  Responsible for External Vendor Management
• Mentor less experienced technician in preparation of Jig & setups .
• Collaborative work with other team members. Provide regular feedback to team members.
• Contribute to organizational initiatives such as process improvements, idea generation, and innovation
•  Responsible to capture and create best practices and share with team members
• Generate and capture knowledge in A3 forms for future reuse

Requirements:

• Knowledge of engineering tools to verify design for assembly/reliability/manufacturability/safety
• Schematic Capture and EDA simulations, PCB layout - CADENCE, Mentor Graphics etc
• HW Verification Testing using lab equipments, such as DSO, Multimeters etc
