Senior Executive - Logistics Job in Jaipur at Godrej

Godrej is hiring for the role of Senior Executive - Logistics!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Give inputs for the planning of freight and implementation of the plan as per the budget and continuously strive for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
• Supervise incoming and outgoing stocks in the warehouse and visual inspection of stock received for damages.
• Maintain complete records, and Ln entries for stock inward.
• Screen the Challans and form a Route for transportation.
• Requisition for vehicles accordingly and coordination with transporters for the same.
• Verify Delivery address, and phone no. for individual customers and verify any commitments given to individual customers and dealers.
• Guide team members in existing logistics processes to achieve operational excellence.
• Coordinate and communicate with dealers and divisions regarding dispatches.
• Coordinate with Authorities in Check posts/State borders to sort out issues of truck hold-ups or other associated problems.
• Maintain Service Levels through order to dispatch time, productivity improvement, and effective implementation of technologies.
• Organize engagement activities for employees as well as stakeholders at the warehouse Location.
• Ensure good housekeeping and adherence to safety norms in the warehouse.

Requirements:

• Graduation in any discipline of engineering is essential. Post Graduation Qualification in Management is preferred.
• Relevant work experience in the field of logistics and warehousing.
• 5 Years of work experience for graduates in any discipline. 4 Years of work experience as an engineering graduate. 3 Years of work experience for graduates in any discipline with a postgraduate qualification in management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
