Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Performing reconciliations: Regularly reviewing and reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, customer accounts receivable, vendor accounts payable, and other relevant financial records to identify discrepancies. 
• Investigating discrepancies: Researching the cause of discrepancies by analyzing transaction details, contacting relevant departments, and reviewing supporting documentation to resolve issues promptly. 
• Data analysis: Utilizing data analysis tools to identify trends and patterns in discrepancies, and to proactively address potential issues. 
• Reporting and communication: Preparing detailed reports on reconciliation findings, including any unresolved issues, and communicating effectively with stakeholders across different departments. 
• Process improvement: Identifying opportunities to streamline reconciliation processes, including automation and system enhancements, to improve efficiency and accuracy. 
• Compliance adherence: Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal control procedures. 

Requirements:

• Strong analytical skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify discrepancies, and draw accurate conclusions. 
• Attention to detail: High level of accuracy and meticulousness when reviewing financial records. 
• Problem-solving skills: Ability to effectively investigate and resolve discrepancies, including root cause analysis.
