LARSEN & TOUBRO is hiring for the role of Senior Engineer Quality control

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Receiving and maintaining drawing, DCRs, specifications & other input documents
• Specification Study & Preparation of Planning document (QAP, QC Procedure, CTQ, etc.) and ICL
• Use of Conventional & Advance metrology instruments
• Receipt inspection of Incoming Materials & Document Verification
• Perform Inspection at Vendor's place
• Perform Material identification, In-process, painting & final inspection and checks related to Operation & Maintenance Accessibility (OMA)
• Control & Processing of Non Conformity Report (NCR)
• Final Documentation Preparation & Submission
• Perform inspection with a customer representative
• Maintaining and calibration of Inspection Instruments
• Implementation of energy conservation or safety initiatives.
• Provide QC coverage to Shop, SCG & PMG
• Ensure effective implementation of all inspection procedures.
• Storage & Maintenance of Documents and records as per Quality Manual
• Identify opportunities available for process improvement and implement them in coordination with the respective department
• Plan / Attend Meetings with team members
• Identify and buy energy-efficient tools & equipment.
• Preparation of DPP reports & RCA, if any
• Set objectives and perform mid-term review & submit final achievement data for self
• Identify training needs and groom self to grow further and develop core knowledge.
• Attend training/awareness sessions on Various technical/other topics
• Participate in Department meetings / get-togethers / other organizational events with team members and be involved in creative team-building activities.
• Participate in departmental initiatives such as use of Power BI
• Identify & apply advance metrology instrument on job to improve accuracy, reduce effort & cycle-time and enhance safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum Qualification BE
