IKS Health is hiring for the role of Senior Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications
• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on requirements and design documents
• Identify test data requirements and set up test environments as necessary
• Execute test cases to validate software functionality, performance, usability, and compatibility across various platforms
• Manual test user interfaces, workflows, and system integration points.
  Document test results and report defects in a clear and concise manner
• Work closely with developers to reproduce and debug issues
  Conduct regression testing to ensure that defects are fixed and new features do not adversely affect existing functionality
• Maintain and update test suites to reflect changes in the software under test
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies
• Participate in peer reviews and contribute to the improvement of overall software quality
• Create automation scripts for the application and maintaining the created scripts
• Utilize test automation tools and frameworks to automate repetitive test cases and accelerate the testing process
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance engineers
• Provide regular status updates on testing progress and actively participate in project meetings

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Proven experience 3+ years as a QE Engineer or similar role
• Strong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit) and programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#. Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, HP ALM)
• Solid understanding of software quality assurance principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Proficiency in data analysis and SQL/Mysql commands
• Should be aware of various software applications related technologies- API/Web Services, DB, Client server models etc Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester) is a plus
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices
• Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA, HL7) is highly desirable
• Knowledge of API testing through Postman or any other similar tools
