Senior Engineer - Material Planning Job in Pune at ZF Group

ZF is hiring for the role of Senior Engineer - Material Planning!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Calculate net demand for item requirement based on MRP 
• Work out schedules and send to supplier. Review supplier capacity, raw material availability, quality issues, tolling and manufacturing readiness. Honor the Share of Business Guidelines (SOB) 
• Place PO on Supplier – Follow-up – Get material – Follow-up with Stores/inspection – Make the material available on line. Timely communications with supplier and escalation in case of issues. Maintain tracking sheet for import consignments. Support New product development 
• Interact with internal customers to satisfy the daily production requirements, issues etc. Ensure smooth availability of material to run the production line 
• Help work out Inventory Levels, Track inventory targets, put all efforts to meet targets. Prepare and submit inventory reports 

Requirements:

• Mandatory experience in Imports material Planning & logistics ( End To End ), All stake holder coordination ( Supplier, CHA,FF Etc.) Knowledge of EXIM Operation 
• Good experience in coordinating with the department Logistics, warehouse, Production & Quality. 
• Proficient in MS-Office, any ERP experience in preferred. 
• Knowledge of Material Management/procurement techniques like Kan-Ban, Min Max, MRP planning 
• Knowledge about Import operation Mandatory
